Col. Mackenzie H&R Set: (Sold)
This is a beautiful, hard to find, set in the box! There are a couple of tiny silver marks where the saddle slides over the horse and some very tiny black marks on the figure from it moving around in the box. The set will come with all original parts including the figure, horse, saddle, black pistol and hat. The reins are tied, so I can't say for certain they are original, but I'd have to think so. Almost no flaws to describe on this set. The box is good, but missing inner flap and a couple of others are taped. The ends are slightly creased.

Johnny Yuma- Rebel H&R Set: SOLD MWW
This Rebel set is in great condition, but not perfect. It is obviously a display set and not a play set. The horse has a couple of mall rubs on the high spots on both flanks but almost pristine on the front portions. The figure is almost the same way. It looks almost mint on the front, but has a couple of thin rubs on the back elbows. There are a few very tiny black marks around, but not easily visible. The reins are tied on this set. It will come with an original figure, rifle-holed saddle, brown pistol, shotgun and horse. The box is firm and clean, but has a couple of flaps taped on the inside.

Annie Oakley H&R Set:
The white plastic on this set is not as pure white as on some sets I've seen, but it is not what I call creme. Otherwise, there isn't anything else to comment on here. The horse and figure are bright and colorful with no fading I can see. Original hat, silver pistol, correct blue saddle with all the silver still on the raised dots. Crimped blue reins. Hat has original string. The box is in good shape, but not perfect. It has a few small creases, a dent on one end, and one inner top flap is partially torn at the hinge. No tape needed to hold the flaps. It displays nicely even though I may have made it sound worse than it is.

Sgt. Preston Set (SOLD):
This set is in very nice shape with good color. As with most black horses, there are some very fine micro scratches. Ears are sharp and full. Original crimped reins. Correct saddle and hat. Replacement string and repro pistol. No flag. This set looks like it was displayed and not played with, but it does have a few little black marks here and there. The blue flaps on the shoulders have tiny specs of paint missing, only visible on very close inspection. There was a tiny spec of paint missing on the tip of the nose. but I touched it up with matching paint. It was only the size of the period on this page.

Brett Maverick H&R Set:
This set displays nicely, but it is not perfect. I've had it in my display case for years. The figure looks great, but it has a thin area of gray pain on the left knee, along with a few very fine black marks. Fine micro scratches on the jacket. The nose is ever so slightly flattened...just the tip. A couple of minor rubs on the hair under the hat. Original rifle holed saddle has a few rubbed silver dots. Mane down Semi-Rearing horse is in good shape, but has the normal micro scratches from being handled. There are a couple of tiny rubs on the hooves. Reins may be original, but hard to say for sure since they are tied. For this price you get one original brown pistol. No flaws on the hat. C8..............$500

Jim Hardie Set 1:
Another set right out of my display case. This set looks great on the shelf. It has the more common mane up SR horse with the slender tail. The white stockings and blaze are painted over brown plastic. Micro scrathes in the horse plastic. Tied reins may or may not be original. Original rifle-holed saddle has a few rubs on the tops of the dots. Figure clean, bright and solid. Original hat. One repro brown pistol.

Rifleman Set 1:
All orignal set in excellent condition. The set has a few very minor marks and micro scratches visible only on close inspection in bright lights. Ear tips and nose are in great shape. The original rifle has the flip ring and is slightly out of perfect round, but it came to me that way and I never tried to heat it or make it perfectly round.

Cheyenne Set 1:
If you are lookng for a super clean, bright Cheyenne set, this one is for you! Only a couple of small marks. Good paint with nice, glossy finish. The gun tip is perfect. The set will come with a repro long knife and the extra repro silver pistol for his holster, though you probably won't put the pistol in it. Otherwise, the set will come with an original figure, saddle, horse and hat.

Annie Oakley Set 2:
This set displays great! The figure has a few black marks that need to be cleaned off, but the paint looks rich and thick. Exposed plastic is off white but not yellowed. Palomino color on the horse is very nice and deep. Tied reins, but I am pretty sure they are original. Same for the drawstring. No major rubs or scratches. There is a small spot of either glue or a melt mark on the back side of Annie's right arm. It looks like it has been there a long time and I did not try to remove it. Comes with an original silver pistol.

Crockett Set 4:
Overall, very nice set. Figure has good color, but paint a little thin on knees, elbows and rump, bordering on full rubs. Nose is a tiny bit flatten, but professionally repainted (airbrushed) face and hair. Silver on powderhorn has a few small scratches and other slight paint loss. Horse has normal play scratches, but solid. Replacement reins.
For this price, you get an original horse, figure, saddle, longrifle, cap. Repro knife......$360

Bowie Set 1:
This set displays very well. It has been handled some but it doesn't look like the original owner actually played with it. The silver is thin and rubbed some on the powderhorn and strap and there is a tiny amount of paint missing on the tip of the nose of the figure. The horse is in good shape, with a few microscratches and fine black marks on the stockings. Crimped reins. The saddle has three or four very fine "teeth marks" in the green. They almost look like they came that way as the paint covers all of them. For this price, the set will come with an original figure, horse, saddle, hat, and rifle, with a repro Cheyenne style long knife.

General Lee Set 1:
General Lee is in pretty good shape, with a few small black marks here and there. The tops of the gold buttons are rubbed. The horse is off white, but very solid and clean. Minor scratches and marks. Original knotted reins. The saddle, hat, and sword are in fine shape and unrepaired or repainted. For this price you will get the original figure, horse, saddle, hat, and sword, plus a repro flag with bamboo post.

General Lee Set 2:
This Lee set has an off white to light cream colored horse with the wavy tail. Reins may have been replaced. There is a little reddish staining where the tail was glued onto the horse. The entire set has the normal black marks and light scratches. The gold trim is mostly rubbed on the figure's buttons and hat emblem. The figure has a nose rub. The saddle is in fine shape with two good stirrups. For this price, you get the original horse, figure, hat, and saddle.

General Lee Set:
This is one of the early Lee sets with wavy tailed horse, original bead chain reins, and the figure has two holder straps for the sword. The entire set is in very nice condition. The horse is off-white to light cream with a few light black marks The figure also has a few black marks, mostly on the back. Saddle is in great shape. The original hat as similar light black marks, but not bad. The figure has a very small dot of paint missing from the tip of the nose. Includes an original bamboo post with a replacement Confederate flag.

This is a very nice looking Washington set. The horse is in good shape with only a couple very tiny marks. It has a cropped mane and full wavy tail. General Custer Set:
This is a very nice looking Custer set. The horse is almost mint with only a couple very tiny marks. It has a cropped mane and full wavy tail. The reins are tied, so they may or may not be original. O'Rourke Set 1 (SOLD):
This is a very clean set and it displays nicely. There are a few light marks and fine scratches overall. The figure is has some thin paint areas on the boot and some rubs on the inside of the boot when it slips over the saddle. Not too visible when assembled. The color is nice and bright. The horse has good ear tips and solid tail. Minor fine scratches..typical. Chain reins and original hat. The saddle has has two repaired stirrups beautifully done by Ken Milchick. They look absolutely terrific. I need to disclose it, but othersise you probably wouldn't have known. Repro pistol.

Jockey Set 2 (SOLD):
Other than the few light scratches in the surface of the horse, this set has few other flaws. The white on the figure's pants is bright white, but not yellowed at all. Everything is bright and solid including the tail. Ear tips are nice and pointed. Crimped original reins. For this price, you get the original figure, horse, and saddle blanket, plus a repro crop.

Roy Rogers Set 2:
This is a premium set with very few issues to even comment on here. The white plastic on the horse and hat is a tad off white. The tip of the left ear on the horse has a tiny bend at the end. There is a very tiny mark or scratch on the left neck of the horse. Crimped reins. The figure is clean, bright and solid. No major imperfections at all.
For this price, you will get an all original set, including the horse, figure, hat, saddle, and two silver pistols.

Roy Rogers Set 3:
Here's a wonderl RR set. It's in excellent or better condition all around. The color is good and mostly glossy . Based on the dust still on the set, it looks like I've had it in the display case for much of its time here. The white plastic is even in color and slightly off white, typical for most sets of this age. The reins are tied, so it is hard to say whether they are orignal. Otherwise, it will come with an original figure, hat, saddle, and horse with two repro silver pistols. Very minimal tiny rubs or marks.

Roy Rogers Set 4:
This is an earlier set consisting of the original figure, horse, saddle, hat, and reins with two repro silver pistols. The horse has beautiful color. The white plastic showing on the horse and hat is slifhtly off white to maybe light creme as seen in the photo. Solid tail and good ear tips. Micro fine scratches on parts of the horse, but only visible held close and in bright light. The figure is the early version lacking the Hartland markings (correct for this combination). Early style saddle with some of the silver dots rubbed.

Dale Evans Set 4:
This is a very strong set with few problems to define. As with almost all Dale sets, there is some staining on the barrel of the horse under the saddle. Additionally, there is a small seam split behind the saddle on the top of the rump. It runs roughly 3/4" and opened up at about the space of a pin. The figure is great, with the only flaw I can find on the tip of the nose. There is a very tiny speck of paint missing.
For this price, you will get an all original set, including the horse, figure, hat, saddle, and one silver pistol.

This is a very nice solid set. The horse is in great shape and has crimped reins. The figure is in terrific shape, but has a tiny dot of missing paint on the very tip of the nose. Seth Adams Set 2 :
Another very clean set with minimal scratches, marks and rubs. The slender tailed horse has a small blemish on the left shoulder. It looks like the remnants of some scotch tape from a long time ago. The figure has two very small black dots on the right leg that appears to be a factory defect from removing the paint mask. It is minimal, but worth noting. Colors nice, bright and glossy. For this price, you get the correct horse, figure hat, and regular black saddle. It also includes a repro brown pistol, whip, and short Winchester rifle....

Champ Lone Ranger Set 1:
Excellent Champ Lone Ranger. This is a very clean display set. Never played with. The figure has the rubber stamp markings on the left chaps "©1954 Lone Ranger, Inc". Very clean. No rubs and all silver intact. The horse is a bit off white with a couple very tiny marks. Good ear tips. Original beaded chain reins. A few of the silver dots on the saddle are rubbed. The white hat has two small orangish stains, but nothing distracting. It will come with two repro Champ pistols.

Lone Ranger Set 2: SOLD:
I This Lone Ranger set is in pretty good condition, but does have some flaws. The horse is off-white with the normal black marks and a few light scratches. It has crimped reins and good ear tips. This is the slender tail version. The original saddle is in good shape, but missing a most of the silver on the raised dots. . The nose on the figure is slightly flattened, not bad, however. The blue is not as bright as some of my other sets, but is in very nice shape otherwise. The original hat a small nick in the crown on one side and three small punctures. Two are on the back of the brim and one is on the top. It looks like someone burned them in with a hot pin or needle. The set will ship with two repro pistols

Lone Ranger Set 3:
This set displays fine, but it is not perfect. The horse is nice and white with good ear tips. It has the slender tail. Crimped reins. The saddle has almost all silver trim. The hat is in great shape, though not quite as white as the horse. The figure is clean overall with few small marks. The nose is slightly flattened. I believe I may have touched up the scarf and mask a long time ago. This set will ship with two repro pistols. The underside of the horse has a round paper sticker with the number "1" written on it.

Lone Ranger Set 4:
Another great looking set with good color. The horse is slightly off white..about normal for that horse. Tied reins. Minimal black marks adn scratches. The saddle as two cinch holes with most of the silver on the dots. Figure is in great shape with only a very tiny spot of blue showing through on the tip of the nose. One spot of hair color missing under the hat. Clean otherwise. Original white matching the color of the horse. This set will ship wth two repro silver pistols. Horse has mane up with slender tail, unpainted hooves.

Lone Ranger Set 5:
I photographed this set on a creamy colored horse, but will offer it on an off-white version as an option. The off-white version has a slighlty dulled finish with some very fine scratches and a few normal black marks. Some will probably come out with some Novus Polish. The saddle is in great shape and has the two punched cinch strap holes. The figure is in execellent or better shape. The original hat is in great shape, too. The set will ship with two repro pistols.

The creamy horse shown in this photo has a nice glossy finish with few marks or scratches. Crimped reins. Pick either horse with this set, or buy this horse for $50 by itself. Can probably be bleached to bring it back to Excellent condition. |

Tonto Set 1:
I don't think this set has had much play time. It is not perfect, but hasn't been abused at all. The paint is a little thin on the tips of the toes, tip of the nose, and some of the silver banding is thin or rubbed over the fringe. Some of the silver is missing on the headband, mostly the front. The horse is slightly off white, and has a few very minor micro scratches and marks. Original crimped reins. The saddle fits nicely. For this price, you get the original figure, horse and saddle, plus a repro feather, knife, and silver pistol.

Tonto Set 2:
It's hard to find too many flaws on this set. The reins are replacements. Later style Chubby horse with molded bridle. Very clean. Saddle as almost all dots except a few rubbed under the legs. Figure is the later version with diamonds on the belt and silver headband. The silver is thinner on the back side of the head than the front. Very few tiny, tiny specks and marks. Tiny rub on the back of the elbow on one site, along with a very small one on the butt. This set will ship with a repro pistol, knife and feather.

Tonto Set 3:
Another very nice set, straight out of my display case. The horse has has good color and gloss. The figure has a very nice matte sheen. This is the later set with molded bridle and Tonto has silver diamonds on his belt and silver headband. Almost now scratches, marks, or imperfections. Tonto has a very small rub on the edge of the fringe on his right elbow. This set will ship with a repro pistol, knife, and feather

Tonto Set 4:
Earlier style Tonto with no diamonds on the belt and rust colored headband. The horse does not have the bridle molded in and this one has an original beaded chain reins. Tonto has a very slight flat spot on the very tip of his nose and a couple of thin rubs on the back side on the heels, butt and thin paint on the elbows and tips of the toes. Sounds worse in print than it looks in person. The paint is "thin" on the tip of the nose, but not rubbed off. The saddle has two holes drilled into it for a cinch strap. Silver dots almost all intact. This set looks wonderful on the shelf. It will ship with a repro pistol, knive, and feather.

Cochise Set #1:
This Cochise set is in excellent condition, but not perfect. It has minimal black and silver marks or scratches. The silver headband is missing only a couple of very tiny spots of paint. I believe the reins are replacements. The "d" ring on the right side of the saddle is broken, but the rest of the set is very solid and clean. The horse has the full wavy tail and mane. Cochise Set #5:
Here's a good set for someone wanting to do a little work and have some fun. For whatever reason, the figure's legs are not wide enough to fit over the saddle. It would need to be heated and pulled apart. The saddle has one broken stirrup, but the part is there. Needs a bit of tender loving care. The horse is in great shape. Cochise Set #6:
This is a nice Cochise set. It has a couple of tiny black mark and the horse has a couple of very tiny silver marks from the saddle. The set will come with an original figure, saddle and horse, with a repro rifle and pistol.

Cochise Set #7:
Nice set overall. The horse and saddle are in great shape. The figure has a bit of silver rubs on the headband and a few stray black marks. The paint on the tip of the nose is slightly thin, but not rubbed throuh. Good, bright colors. The set will come with an original figure, saddle and horse, with a repro rifle and pistol.

Earp Set 1:
You'll have a tough time finding a better Earp set than this one. It is a later version with the slender tailed walking horse. Brown paint over white plastic. This is a nice, bright glossy set with almost no imperfections to describe. Hat fits his head very well. Tied reins look original to me. This set will ship with a set of dark brown repro pistols.—a Buntline and a regular pistol.

Earp Set 2:
This is a very clean set and will look good with the rest of your sets. Not quite as glossy as Earp Set #1 above, but still good. Crimped reins. Brown paint over white plastic on the walking horse and slender tail. Figure's sleeves are off white to light cream. Micro black marks on face. Hat fits well. This set will ship with repro pistol and buntline.

Earp Set 3:
This set displays very well. It has good color and gloss with few minor black marks and rubs. Off white sleeves on the figure and horse's stockings and blaze. Tied reins may or may not be original. The saddle is the style with holes punched in the sides for a cinch strap. There is some black paint on the barrel of the horse just under the left boot. It might come, but it never bothered me since it was hidden by the saddle and boots. This set will ship with a repro Buntline and pistol. Otherwise original.

Earp Set 4:
This is the nicest Earp set of the group I have to offer at this time. He's very clean, bright and glossy. The shirt is slightly off white. The horse is solid and glossy, molded in brown plastic. The saddle is in great shape, too. I am fairly certain the chain reins are orignal. Original hat, with a set of repro guns (Brown Buntline and a regular brown pistol).

Brave Eagle Set 3:
This is a bright, clean, glossy set in excellent or better condition. The figure is near mint with essentially no imperfections. Good color. The wavy tailed SR horse is great shape with good gloss. It is off white and had tied reins. Hooves are painted black. Minimal stray marks or scratches. The set will ship with an original figure, horse, red blanket and warbonnet. It will also ship with a repro bow & knife,

Chief Thunderbird Set:
This is a well above average set, but not perfect The horse is an early style the no molded in bridle. He's in great shape with good gloss and almost no marks. The tail is fastened, but it wiggles. Figure is clean and bright, but has a couple of light rubs on the knees, fringe, toes, and silver armbands..
This set will ship with an original horse, figure, blanket, and warbonnet, along with a repro bow, knife, tomahawk, and spear.

Chief Thunderbird Set 3:
This is an above average set, but not perfect. the figure as a few random light marks and scratches along with some silver rubs on the armband. Thin spots on the knees, toes and fingertips. This spot on the tip of the nose. Horse has replacement black reins and is in excellent or better shape. Excellent blanket.
This set will ship with an original horse, figure, blanket, and warbonnet, along with a repro bow, knife, tomahawk, and spear.

Dillon Set 4:
This set is in very good condition, but it has some extra black marks, mainly on the figures sleeves and face. Most should clean off, but I will leave that to the buyer. Otherwise, it is a bright, glossy, clean solid set. This set will have a repro silver pistol but the rest of the parts are original. Crimped reins on the horse.

Red & White / Blk Champ Set 1: 020808
A very nice set! The set is photographed without reins, but it will have a replacement set of chain reins. The horse is nice and glossy with few flaws. It has a few small black marks on the stockings and minimal silver rubs on the tack. The red saddle fits the horse like a glove, with a few high dots rubbed. The figure is very clean and bright. It has a tiny scratch across the bridge of the nose, seen only if inspecting at a few inches away. Minimal rubs on the knuckles. Silver trim intact.

Red & White / Blk Champ Set 2:
A very nice set! The horse is nice and glossy with few flaws other than the very fine micro scratches in the plastic. It has a few small black marks on the stockings and some silver rubs on the tack. The red saddle has a few high dots rubbed. The figure is very clean and bright. Silver trim intact. The white chaps, scarf and hat are off white as seen in the photo. This set will come with an original hat and two repro silver pistols.

Brown / BlueChamp Set:
This horse has a beautiful deep palomino color. The whites are off white, but not terribly yellowed. The tail seems loose but still attached. Reins are repro. Saddle is in great shape with most dots still silver. The original hat is in good shape, but has a couple of very faint teeth marks if looking closely in the right light. Figure is in very good shape with only a small rub on the butt and a small one just above the boot on the right leg. Brown chaps are slightly faded but not terribly green. The silver details are almost perfect. Overall, a very nice set in Excellent condition. The set will come with two repro Champ pistols. Appears to have only been displayed. ..........$180
