Welcome to myhartlands.com

Most of the sets and pieces on this site come from my personal collection. Many have been on my display shelves for years. Most are a result of me "cherry picking" the best pieces from the many sets I have owned over roughly 20 years of active buying and selling. Some of these pieces are very rare.

Some sets may appear to be higher priced than some similar items on eBay and other auction sites, but you can rest assured I am attempting to describe these pieces to make sure there are no surprises. If there are repro parts on any of these sets, they will be prominently disclosed. In many cases, I also give you an opportunity to save money by substituting repro parts.

Money from the sales of these pieces are helping pay for two kids in college and other family needs. Please do not ask me to deal on them. Many are priced at what I paid for them originally.

It takes quite a while to clean, photograph, crop, post and describe each set. I can only do a dozen or so sets at a time, so please check back regularly for the newest additions.

Happy collecting,
Mike R. Jackson

red   Original Champ Cowgirl Saddle:
Hard to find loose. This is for an 800 series cowgirl. It may have also been used for early Black Beauty sets. A little bit of the silver is rubbed, but not badly......$45

blanket   Original Indian Blanket:
This is a nice, glossy red blanket used for Thunderbird and Brave Eagle sets. Minimal scratches or marks........................$45

1993-1994 Stevens Brown Saddle:
Made for the re-releases Dale Evans and Earp. Molded in brown plastic... HTF.... $30 ea
10 available

customblack   Custom Black Saddle:
One of my favorite saddles were the Cheyenne Saddles. I never liked the idea of ruining one to paint it a custom color. I eventually ran across one missing both stirrups, so I cut replacements off of one of the Washington saddles made by Stevens plastics and reattached them to the vintage Cheyenne saddle, then gave it a custom paint job. You can still see a bit of a seam at the joint but looks very nice...$40

brownrifleholed   Vintage Rifle Holed Saddle:
This brown saddle is in fine shape, but has a milky film that never seems to want to go away. Most of it is under the seat of the rider, so it shouldn't be an issue.....$30

Stevens Thunderbird / Brave Eagle Blanket:...$20 ea Limited Supply:
Stevens Lee Saddle:

Both stirrups are missing. .....$10
RR Saddle_ broken stirrup $20

dalesaddle   Dale Evans or Josh Randall Saddle:
This saddle apparently squeezed together at one time and someone forced it on a horse. It has a crack down one side. Since it is all brown plastic, you might be able to fuse it back together with acetone and not have to repaint it. It'd take a little work but the rest of the saddle is in good shape.. .....$10

900 Series Saddles:
Note: The saddles below fit the larger sized "Champ" horses, commonly called the 900 series. Some may be made by Breyer or other manufacturers.

maroon

900 Series Maroon Saddle:
a rider. It is reddish brown or maroon in color with black trim and silver conchos. Unusual piece.

Excellent to NM condition.....
Was $75....Now $60 SOLD DP

brownsaddle

900 Sized Brown Saddle with straps:
I'd guess this is a Breyer saddle based on the snap style straps. It has gold markings, also common with Breyer saddles. Short seat

Excellent.....Was $40....Now $30

blue

Blue 900 Series Hartland Saddle:
This saddle is definitely a Hartland piece as it has the Diamond I imprint on the underside. The saddle was originally molded in chocolate brown plastic, but someone has painted it navy blue with silver dots. It needs to be heated and stretched out to fit a horse. This is probably a diamond in the rough! It is in good shape other than the odd color. Short seat

Good.....$25
