Custom Mane Up Coffee Dunn Horse:
I customized this horse from a Brave Eagle horse. It has a wavy tail and full mane, paint to match the coffee dunn color of Gil Favor's mane down and prancing version......$100

Full Rearing Palomino Horse:
This horse can be used for either Roy Rogers or Annie Oakley. The color is pretty good and it is not too yellowed. Original crimped reins. The horse has a few light scuffs, a couple of deeper scratches and the normal black marks. The horse is solid and all the seam are tight.

Walking Trigger Horse:
Early style Trigger with wavy tail. This one has good color, good ear tips and is in good shape. There is a slight seam separation at the top of the neck I hadn't seen until walking over it while it was on the floor. Replacement chain reins. The white plastic is off white to light cream as seen in the photo. There are only a few thin rubs in the Palomino painted areas.

Stripped Chubby Horse:
I believe this was an early Crocket horse. It has been bleached and most of the paint came off, but there are a few stubbon stains still visible, mainly on the shoulders, belly and flank on the left side of the hrose as seen in the photo.
This one would make a great horse for customizing. Seams are tight, tail is glued on well and the ear tips are nice an pointed.

Washington Walking Horse:
This walkin horse has a cropped mane and full wavy tail. As you can see it has a chipped ear tip. It also has a few rubs, scratches and black marks. You can repair the tips, let the kids play with it or take the tail off it for another set. The price is right!

Dillon Buckskin Walking Horse:
This is a slender tailed, walking horse used with Matt Dillon. It is solid with no major structural flaws. Good ear tips. Seams are good. It has some normal black marks here and there and light scratches that might polish out.

Later Lee Horse:
Most Lee horses had a black martingale, including the ones with the slender tail. Some of the later ones lacked the martingale as seen here. This is a good horse with solid seams. The very tip of the left ear looks to have been blunted ever so slightly, visible only on close inspection. This is probably the horse I used in the photographs for the Lee set with this variation and also on the White horses ID page.

Buttermilk —Dunn Horse:
If you need a horse for your Dale Evans figure, this is a great candidate. The tail is solid, ear tips, sharp, and no splits in the seams. The fine airbrush detailing around the eyes is a little thin but otherwise, it is a fine horse.

Rifleman Horse:
This horse is in good shape, but has some fine scratches in the body of the horse. The tips of the horse's ears are sharp, but one is slightly turned at the tips. It would be an easy repair if heated slightly. A little of the black on the hooves are rubbed and there are a few black marks on the brown part of the horse.

Cropped Mane Bay Horse:
I'm not sure I should sell this one now, but maybe someone needs it to fill a void in their collection. This horse has always been a bit of a mystery. It has the early style tail and cropped mane, similar to some Washington sets and some Custer sets. The Custer box shows him on a bay colored horse, so it is hard to say which rider ever rode him. This is a nice solid horse with good seams and pointed ear tips. It has a couple minimal rubs in the brown paint and a couple of rubs and spots at the top of the stockings.

Slender Tailed Custer Horse:
Most Custers seem to have shipped with the wavy tailed horse. A few came with the slend tailed horse seen here. This horse is in great shape with a deep palomino color. There are only a couple of small rubs and essentially no other flaws to mention. The white plastic is the normal off white color.

Semi Rearing BW Pinto Horse 1:
This is a very nice SR pinto horse used mainly with Cochise. I just took it out of my display case, coming off a Longley set I had assembled. The white plastic is slightly off white—the typical plastic color on the vintage sets.

Semi Rearing BW Pinto Horse 2:
This is a good, solid horse, off white to cream on the white plastic areas. There are quite a few deep rubs in the black paint. This one has the full wavy tail and full mane normally used with Cochise.

Ring Eyed Tabiano SR Horse:
This horse is light creme on the white plastic and has numerous rubs in the black areas. He'd look fine with a little TLC touchup black. and would also be a great candiate for someone's customized sets. Otherwise, the seams are tight and the horse is solid with no breaks or damage.

Polo Pony:
This is one of the vintage horses as far as I can tell.
He's in very nice shape. Same size as the 800 series horses. Some people put a Jockey rider on them, but I don't think Hartland ever sold them that way. This horse looks great on the left side. The right side has some mysterious metallic silver stains on the front shoulder. I've never really tried to remove them, but they seem embedded in the dark brown color. This is a good, solid horse with no major flaws other than the paint I just mentioned.

Fighting Mustan Horse:
This is the acetate plastic version of this horse. Most of them seem to show up in Styrene plastic. It is a nice looking piece at the size of the normal 800 series horses. At the extreme angle, it it would be close to impossible to get a rider to sit on it, and it lacks any kind of bridle or holes for reins. This one has a few minimal rubs on the black. It is off white on the white plastic. It has three felt pads on the two hooves and tail. There's a sliver of a split seam under the neck and also at the top of the neck along the mane, neither of which are easy to see.

Marbleized Chubby Horse:
I don't know if we ever positively identified the manufacturer of this horse, but I am fairly sure it wasn't Hartland. Seems like it is a Lido version of the Chubby style horse. Other than the detailing in the mane, it looks very much like an early style Hartland chubby horse. This one is in great shape.

Chestnut Mane Up SR Horse 1:
This horse was used with several riders such as Buffalo Bill, Cheyenne and Jim Hardie. This one is in wonderful shape with almost no marks on the white stockings. There's a black smudge under the saddle area that should come off easily. It has a few micro scratches around, but only visible on close inspection in bright lights. This is the thick, wavy tailed version with full mane.

Chestnut Mane Up SR Horse 2:
This horse was used with several riders such as Buffalo Billand Jim Hardie. I am not sure if Cheyenne ever had this version of the SR horse. This one is molded in white plastic and painted with the brown over the white. It has the full wavy tail and raised mane. Overall, this horse is in great shape, but it does have a couple of paint rubs on the shoulder and belly on its right side. You can see one of them on the front shoulder in the photo.

Breyer B&W Western Pony:
Breyer was making horses at about the same time as Hartland was making their Champ horses. The Western Pony was almost idendical in size and general appearance, other than the fact the mane was on the left of the horse's neck. This one is in great shape. I snapped the chain reins back together after the photo. Very few, tiny rubs.

Breyer White Western Pony:
Breyer was making horses at about the same time as Hartland was making their Champ horses. The Western Pony was almost idendical in size and general appearance, other than the fact the mane was on the left of the horse's neck. This one is in great shape. It is very glossy, bright white, clean and as close to mint as any horse I've seen.
